Three Opinions
Some people claim that there is no truth. According to these skeptics, everybody is stuck in their own personal perspective. Nobody can ever know anything for sure.
Then again dogmatists believe in only one set of beliefs, which must not be questioned at all. Everybody must believe the same things, whether they are true or not.

Cognitive biases are defective but default patterns of thoughts and behavior that make you arrive at misleading conclusions. You are susceptible to this default pattern of thought because your perception of this world is something that is shaped by your assumptions.
And mind you, not all of your assumptions can stand up to the scrutiny of very basic scientific rigor. And the best part is that it often becomes a default pattern without your knowledge.
Even though, a typical adult makes 27 judgments a day – usually starting with whether to turn off the alarm or hit snooze, the influences on your decision-making is something that often goes unnoticed.
Despite being such an integral part of our daily life, we are never taught about decision-making and associated cognitive biases. It’s a skill that is often learned via innumerable trial and error disguised as experiences.

Jessica and Sebastian (not their real names) work in communications and marketing, respectively; their annual salaries are $125,000 and $135,000. However, Jessica, 37, grew up with a very different socioeconomic background than Sebastian, 36.
When they met 14 years ago, Jessica had both student loan debt and credit card debt; Sebastian, whose college was paid for out of a trust fund, had yet to open his first credit card. Many of their early financial experiences were still influencing their spending and saving decisions — and not always for the best.
Now Jessica and Sebastian are married and living in San Diego with their 3-year-old daughter. Here’s how life and love have changed their financial perspectives.
