However old we might be, none of us is ever quite emotionally mature - but having a list to hand of what maturity consists of might be a way of keeping score and nudging ourselves in the right direction. Here is a comprehensive list of what maturity might comprise.
Based on the extraordinary number of hours spent by me in watching movies of every possible language and genre, my wife used to have no problem relying on my cinematic viewing experience to select movies to watch on the weekend.
I was supposed to be her trusted and reliable source for movie recommendations — or so I thought till she started checking the ratings of the movie online — IMDb. Not only that, it hurts to know she has now grown more comfortable believing a group of strangers on the internet rather than a movie connoisseur like me.
Now the obvious question is how reliable and trustworthy are those movie ratings? Or for that matter any online ratings.

Facebook is broken, and after a recent deluge of damning internal company leaks to the press and Congress, the world has unassailable proof of how troubled it really is.
Almost 2 billion people around the world use a product owned by Meta (formerly called Facebook), including WhatsApp and Instagram, every day. For many of its users, the nearly $1 trillion valuation company is the internet and their primary platform for communication and information. Millions of us are dependent on its products in one way or another.
So, what can be done to fix Facebook? Or is it past the point of fixing?
